Tutorial: Gold and Purple Halo Eye
The sun has proven to be illusive these last few weeks so while I wait for an opportunity to swatch, I have another tutorial! I've been trying to use up more of my existing collection instead of the buy buy buy approach I've had before. Today I had a basic color palette picked out and just went to town swatching on my hand to find the right colors. This was the end result! It photographed a little less warm than it appeared in person.

1. Start by applying a primer and base shadow to your eyelids. I used Corvus Skin Walker. Please excuse the janky-looking leftover lash glue from yesterday!
2. Using a large blending brush, apply Blackbird Dog Days to the crease. It's okay to be a little sloppy with this in terms of placement as you want it to be blown out and blended well.
3. Using a medium blending brush, apply Notoriously Morbid Dita into the crease. With this shade you'll want to be a bit more precise and not go any further than the transition shadow.
4. Blend Notoriously Morbid's I Call It More Pointy in the crease and inner and outer portions of the lid. This step will add a lot more depth to the final look.
5. Using a flat shader brush, apply Fyrinnae Rapunzel Had Extensions on the lid, avoiding the corners and centermost part.
6. On the center of the lid, apply Shiro Perfect World with a small shader brush. If you lost some of the intensity of the pink, apply more Dita to the crease.
7. Re-apply your shadows over a sticky base if you'd like to have a more vibrant look. I used Brija Adhesive Wax since I forgot to do so at the beginning.
8. Reapply and intensify the corners and crease as necessary. I added more of NM I Call It Mr. Pointy to the inner and outer portions of the lid. I also applied a small amount of Blackbird Lucid to the crease. Blend wherever necessary.
9. Run a small amount of I Call It Mr. Pointy to the lower lashline and pack on Perfect World in the center using a small shader brush. Apply Urban Decay WOS as a brow highlight.
10. Add Hello Waffle Emma on your inner corner as a highlight. Apply your liner of choice. I used Femme Fatale Wizard's Only, Fool foiled with Darling Girl Superstar Serum to create my liner. I kept my wing small so I don't cover all the glowiness on the lid. Apply mascara and you're done!
Hope you found this helpful!
